I’ve been using some variation of training software since my first Polar heart rate monitor in 1999. As I went through college and transitioned into my coaching career, I’ve tried most of the mainstream apps and wearable platforms over the past 20 years.

Most training apps are really good, but when it comes to a strength training solution that meets the needs of coaches to program, track progress, and analyze technique, and the needs of athletes to have a seamless experience logging workouts, I’ve always been left feeling frustrated and full of apologies.

Delivering a coaching service through someone else’s product is convenient, but it’s also insanely frustrating. I’ve found AI to be a stunning solution to this problem.

AI has made it possible for a coach like me, with deep domain expertise, to funnel decades of experience using software to coach and train into building my own solution that best reflects my coaching approach and the needs of my athletes. My solution to the problem of strength coaching apps being coach and user unfriendly is IronOS.

I used AI to code IronOS from scratch to solve two problems:

  1. To be the coaching platform I’ve always wanted, one that delivers better strength programming, progress tracking, and technique analysis to clients.
  2. To be the workout logging app I’ve always wanted to use as an athlete who pays for strength training coaching myself.

If you’re interested in giving IronOS a try, it’s available in the Apple App Store for free. Like actually, for real, free. Click the image below to download from the Apple App Store.

No ads, no limitations, no data harvesting, just the best workout logging app anywhere (in my humble opinion).

If you’re on Android, sorry, that one should be coming in a few months.

If you’re a coach interested in using IronOS with your athletes, please reach out at nate@ironos.app.

If you have any questions about the app, please reach out. I’d be honored if you gave it a shot!
